Alila Ubud, in the traditional Balinese hill village of Payangan and on the banks of the mystical and magical Ayung River, is located in Bali’s central foothills, just five kilometres from the artistic centre of Ubud, a place where artists and painters, writers and musicians from around the world find their inspiration.

The 56 Deluxe Rooms are housed in 14 two-storey blocks designed to resemble a Balinese village. All rooms have panoramic views of the magical Ayung River and surrounding volcanoes.

Enjoy new bedscapes from 'Ploh' in fresh white down comforters and soft high thread count bed sheets and plump pillows. New Sleep Mints in the form of in-room Apple iPods are now available in the resort's Deluxe Rooms and Villas. Guests can also upload their choice of music at the library. Just plug it in, pop in your iPod and play.

Towering coconut pillars and a traditional thatched roof give a bright and spacious feel to the open style restaurant, which serves Balinese and "healthy" natural cuisine as well as some of the finest international dishes.

Whether stepping out of the sun at noon, lounging on a sun bed during the day, or pouring over a sunset cocktail near the day’s end, the Cabana staff are ready to serve. The hotel also serves an a la carte restaurant menu at the Cabana lounge should you choose to dine poolside. Your only job is to remain as relaxed as possible as you gaze out across one of the most romantic pools in Bali.

Breakfast is available from 7am to 11am and selections from a full Room Service menu can be ordered from 11am until 11pm. A light menu is also available 24 hours a day.

B a l e B e n g o n g
Have a private lunch or dinner all to yourselves. Escape to the outer reaches of the Bale Bengong located several stone steps from the end of the pool. A private, secluded and romantic dining experience where you can enjoy a special menu customised for the two of you by the Chefs. Served by your own personal Butler tending to your every request, this is one of life and loves pure luxuries.
This dining option is available for lunch or dinner but, can also be served in the Restaurant.
